MAGEC Software has been providing professional services, turnkey applications, and its MAGEC Rapid Application Development (RAD) system to U.S. and Canadian clients since 1978. The MAGEC Software in-house staff develops, enhances, and maintains the entire RAD product from its Dallas, Texas home office. Because the RAD product utilizes TCP/IP to interconnect various platforms seamlessly, they are able to maintain the OS/390/CICS, VSE/CICS, AIX, Windows 95/NT/98/2000 versions synchronized with little or no delay normally associated with migrating from one platform to another.
This also helps the maintenance staff to earn exceptionally high ratings from clients who utilize the 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week toll-free support line. All members of the team are experienced application developers with numerous successful projects to their credit prior to handling their first support call. The company has shunned the traditional philosophy that the customer support center should be on-the-job training for new hires.
In recent years the MAGEC Software team has been called upon more and more to provide complete turnkey implementations including the RAD product and all associated hardware and software required.
